Hanover Iron Works has been fabricating and erecting customized steel stairways rails and other miscellaneous metal components in the Pennsylvania Maryland Virginia and North Carolina commercial markets for more than 60 years.

SUMMARY :

A Fabricator / Welder- Aluminum / Stainless is responsible for performing skilled welding and grinding work on rails and miscellaneous metals using MIG and TIG welding techniques while ensuring precision safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for layout and fabrication of rails and miscellaneous metals.
• Cut and weld steel aluminum and stainless steel as well as read blueprints.
• Fabricate and TIG weld Aluminum and Stainless Handrails.
• Read understand and layout in accordance with blueprints.
• Operate cold saw band saw pipe-notcher and grinder.
• MIG and TIG Welding
• Operate overhead crane.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Position align fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits.
• Use jigs welding torches and hand tools.
• Achieve all goals and expectations that are established by the Shop Foreman.
