Job descriptionRegistered Nurse position in Skilled Nursing Unit at Southern TN Hospital. Facility is a 198-bed acute and skilled care facility with 131 acute beds and 26 skilled care / nursing home beds. Features include a 10-bed ICU, 12-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, 12-bed Acute Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Unit, Skilled Nursing Unit, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, five OR Suites, two Endoscopy Suites, and a 13-bay Emergency Room with over 15,000 annual visits. Sewanee sister facility is a 21-bed general acute care and 20-bed skilled care facility with a four-bay Emergency Room seeing over 5,000 patients annually. Radiology services include MRI, CT, PET / CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and X-ray. Must have certification / licensure required to work as an RN in Tennessee. Required certifications prior to start : ACLS, BLS, HWC. Client may require additional certifications as per LPNT checklist. Minimum 1+ years of experience. Shift details provided but not specified in detail. Weekly guaranteed hours : 36. Weekend hours : Every other weekend / as needed. Call requirements : As needed. Float requirements : As needed. Unit : Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) Number of openings : 1 Trauma Level : N / A Patient population serves all ages. Required certifications for unit : ACLS, BLS, HWC. Shift : see shift details. Weekly guaranteed hours : 36. Weekend hours : every other weekend / as needed. Call and float requirements as needed. Unit Profile : Facility Department / Cost Center : 5332 (627) SNU. Position : Registered Nurse in Skilled Nursing Unit. Serves all ages (patient population). Dress code : Any scrub color; no casual wear. Professional personality fit required.
