Job description

We are excited to find a full-time , experienced Memory Care Program Director to oversee the clinical, operational, and cultural excellence of a dedicated Memory Care neighborhood within our esteemed senior living community. This position is perfect for a proactive leader with a profound understanding of dementia care who is dedicated to fostering a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment for residents, while also developing and empowering a high-performing care team.

As the Memory Care Program Director , you will manage the daily operations of the neighborhood, ensuring compliance with regulations, achieving quality outcomes, and maintaining care consistency. You will collaborate closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary leadership to continuously enhance programming, care practices, and team performance, serving as the clinical and operational expert in Memory Care.

Competitive Pay : Offering a market-leading salary of $50,000 to $56,000 per year, depending on experience.

What You Will Do

  • Foster a safe, structured, and engaging Memory Care environment based on best practices for Alzheimer's and dementia care.
  • Oversee the overall performance of the Memory Care neighborhood, including resident experience, staff development, regulatory compliance, and daily operations.
  • Manage hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling of Memory Care team members to ensure consistent coverage and high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with nursing, wellness, and community leadership to address resident care needs and family communication.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to state regulations and community standards, maintaining readiness for inspections and driving continuous improvement in care outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted resource for residents' families, offering education, transparency, and partnership throughout the dementia care journey.

What You Will Need to Bring

  • Completion of state-required dementia training or willingness to complete training within a specified time frame.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in Memory Care, assisted living, or dementia-focused clinical or leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, care coordination, and support for residents with cognitive impairments.
  • Strong knowledge of dementia care best practices, behavior management strategies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Certification in CPR, or the ability to obtain it upon hire.
