What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any conditions that require attention. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the proper authorities and / or management. Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment while helping to deter theft and other security-related concerns typical in a retail and distribution setting. Support Allied Universal and the client by adhering to all site-specific security-related policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Must be at least 21 years of age. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
