Job Description

Sunshine Psychological Counseling is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to provide in-person therapeutic services to children and families at our San Juan Capistrano office. This per diem position offers flexible scheduling and an opportunity to work in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide individual and family therapy for children.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in case consultations and staff meetings as needed.

Requirements :

  • Master’s or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
  • Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or Board of Psychology (BOP) in California.
  • Experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

    • Compensation :

  • $20 - $50 per session , depending on experience.
  • Per diem position , schedule starting after 2 pm
