WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Glens Falls, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Glens Falls, NY.

Job Function :

  • Day Shift or Night Shift.
  • 6 : 45am to 7 : 15pm / 6 : 45pm to 7 : 15am.
  • Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress.
  • Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
  • Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
  • Begin treatment and monitor doses.
  • If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
  • Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit.

    • Job Requirements :

  • RN must be comfortable working ICU and PCU.
  • Requires de-escalation training for all units (Welle, CPI or PMCS).
  • Must have EPIC experience and strongly prefer CERNER experience.
  • Must have min 4 years of nursing and min 2.5 years in Critical Care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
