Quality Engineer II
Performs Quality Engineering assignments requiring independent evaluation, selection, and application of standard Quality Engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment and ingenuity in making adaptations and modifications. Work is performed on moderately complex contracts requiring independent execution within a defined set of skills or knowledge area. The Quality Engineer supports product design activities, planning for quality, production activities, data analysis and development of metrics, root cause and corrective action, and process and product improvement.

Position Requirements : Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications. Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze specifications, drawings, procedures and schematics. Ability to apply logical, scientific or analytical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Effective ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks. Ability to work both in a team environment and independently. An inquiring mind and passion for learning. Knowledge of Quality Engineering and manufacturing processes. Technical knowledge of inspection and test techniques. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and concepts. Experience with Oracle a plus.
Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Electrical Engineering preferred.
