Required Qualifications : Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position. :

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in construction or project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, regulations, and safety standards is essential.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills for managing teams and coordinating projects.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Previous work experience in a higher education environment.
  • Job Description :

    Responsible for planning, designing, estimating, scheduling, directing, and inspecting small-sized repair, maintenance, renovation and construction projects to ensure objectives are met.

    Job Duties :

  • Oversee execution of operational service contracts within Facilities Services.
  • Coordinate planning, design, bidding, and construction process to assure conformance with university standards, laws, codes, and regulations have been incorporated in the contract documents.
  • Lead various facility and utility distribution repair, maintenance, renovation and construction projects.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on facility conditions, renovations, and repairs.
  • Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and construction costs for projects.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
