Your Responsibilities
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients of all ages—from infants to older adults. Your role includes:
- Performing thorough physical exams and health assessments
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
- Developing individualized treatment plans rooted in the latest clinical guidelines
- Ordering, interpreting, and following up on lab work, diagnostic imaging, and other tests
- Prescribing medications and educating patients on proper usage, safety, and side effects
- Providing preventive care, wellness counseling, and chronic disease education
- Performing in-office procedures such as wound care, injections, and suturing when necessary
- Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Providing patient and family counseling regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative care
- Maintaining detailed and up-to-date documentation in the electronic health record system
Qualifications
We are seeking a dedicated, clinically skilled professional with a passion for patient care. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current, unrestricted state licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner is preferred
- New graduates can apply as well
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Clinical experience in areas such as public health, emergency medicine, family planning, or geriatrics is highly desirable
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A compassionate, team-based approach to care and decision-making
- Strong knowledge of medical standards and guidelines for patient care
- Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
