Scientific - Quality Technician

Job Description:
THE MANAGER IS LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO ONLY HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR COLLEGE DIPLOMA DEGREE WITHOUTH ANY EXPERIENCE.

*Shift: M to F 8am to 3.30pm
*100% onsite Torrance, CA
*Good to have:
- Chemistry related course (not mandatory)
- Pay attention to details

We are currently seeking a QC Technician I who will be responsible for evaluating products made and/or distributed by OpCo.

What we'll get you doing:

- Maintaining a clean, organized and presentable workspace and enforce ISO:9001 guidelines as required.

- Using computer program(s) to test, process and evaluate product. Following FIFO (first in first out) philosophy for testing, as needed. Performing minor troubleshooting activities on testing instrumentation. Following all assigned testing and operating instructions for work area. Supporting key initiatives as assigned by department leadership.
Completing assigned training and reading as outlined by department manager.

The essential requirements of the role include:
- High School diploma required. Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors / defects. Typically, no experience.

It would be a plus: Analytical thinking and problem solving. Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion.
