SUMMARY:
Supports the Fair Hearings and Appeals Manager in the consistent implementation of fair hearing procedures. Represents the agency in informal meetings, mediations, and fair hearings. Serves as a point of contact for the community regarding complaints. Assists with the investigation of 4731 complaints.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Sociology or a related field required. A minimum of three years’ experience at a regional center, specifically supporting the Fair Hearings Department.

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS
Proof of valid California driver’s license and auto insurance. Must have a means of transportation that will permit incumbent to discharge job duties effectively and efficiently.
