Registered Nurse – Inpatient Rehab

Unit Name : Inpatient Rehab

Requirements :

Must have a valid TN RN License or Compact RN License in good standing

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (Rehab or Med-Surg experience preferred)

Certifications Required : BLS

Must Have : Active RN license, strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills

Unit Specifics :

Focus : Helping patients regain strength and independence through coordinated, multidisciplinary care

Responsibilities : Patient assessments

Medication administration

Wound care

Patient education

Collaboration with therapists and physicians to promote recovery

Documentation System : Meditech

Patient Experience Expectations : Provide compassionate, patient-centered care; collaborate closely with care team to support recovery

Advanced Skills / Preferred Skills :

Rehab nursing experience

Med-Surg experience

Teamwork and effective communication
