Senior QA Automation Engineer

Overview

Talascend is currently seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer for an opportunity in Newark, CA.

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in web automation. Ideal candidate is passionate about quality engineering, automation frameworks, and delivering high-quality applications at scale.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.
• Build robust UI automation scripts using Selenium for web applications.
• Develop and execute API and backend automation using Pytest and Robot Framework.
• Validate REST APIs, including status codes, request / response payloads, and data integrity.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across platforms.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage.
• Integrate test suites with CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab Runner.
• Use Git for version control and maintain clean, scalable code.
