Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

Improve residents' mobility, strength, and overall quality of life through tailored therapy programs

Provide pain management interventions using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and assistive devices

Educate residents and families on therapy goals, progress, and recovery expectations

Supervise and support physical therapy assistants as needed

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with professional standards

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and patient-centered care

Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

Required

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Current and valid New York State PT License

Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred

Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings

New graduate Physical Therapists encouraged to apply

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate : $42 $55 per hour ($87,360 $114,400 annual equivalent)
