Essential Functions
- Interfaces with internal and external customers in the coordination, planning, implementation, maintenance and service issues for Globus Medical products
- Installs Globus Medical products on-site at customer locations (hospitals) in accordance with official installation procedures
- Performs site acceptance testing to demonstrate operational performance per product specifications and formal test procedures
- Demonstrates system functionality to customer representatives and secures documented evidence of their concurrence
- Responds to customer issues or complaints regarding product performance by diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing components, and confirming resolution
- Performs preventative maintenance on-site at existing customer facilities
- Updates and upgrades products to resolve issues and enhance system capabilities
- Documents customer feedback, issues and complaints in line with Globus procedures
- Documents results of customer visits including installation and system functionality test reports
- Participates in and supports returned material authorization (RMA) processing
- National and possible international travel in support of equipment; travel is expected to vary by deployment, with less travel as more equipment is deployed in the Northwest
- Adheres to the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations by completing training and maintaining knowledge relevant to the role

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; science or engineering degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in a technical customer service / field service role; experience in the medical device industry preferredExperience with GMP and ISO standards and a strong understanding of healthcare capital equipmentAbility to access hospital settings and keep vendor requirements up to dateProficient in MS Office, especially MS ExcelKnowledge of quality and / or reliability engineering is a plusAbility to travel on short notice and provide service in assigned geographySelf-starter; able to work independently and as a key contributor in small teamsExcellent oral, written, and graphical communication skillsPhysical Demands
