Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details :

  • Work 36-hour night shifts from 6 : 20 AM to 7 : 00 PM
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • Must work 2 / 3 winter holidays and other future holidays during contract
  • No on-call requirements
  • Patient ratio of 1 : 5 or 1 : 6
  • 2 years minimum experience required
  • Must have 1 prior travel assignment
  • Required certifications : BLS and NIH
  • Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
  • Must be comfortable with gender affirmation surgery patient population
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
  • Scrubs not provided - must wear navy blue scrubs
  • Cerner experience preferred
  • Skills required : MS / Tele with telemetry monitoring capability
  • Work with adult and geriatric patients in post-op focused unit
  • Unit has 48 beds with daily census of 48
  • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
  • Must have compact license or MD license
  • Two supervisor references required

    • Facility :

    This medical center operates a 48-bed medical surgical telemetry unit with a post-operative focus, though they also treat various medical diagnoses. The facility features comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. The unit maintains telemetry capability with dedicated monitor technicians providing continuous cardiac monitoring for patients.
