About the Position

The Liability and Litigation Manager operates under broad direction with limited oversight, and will be responsible for overseeing and directing the management of complex property and casualty claims and associated litigation across various lines of business (primarily Homeowners and Commercial Property and Casualty), while exercising high discretionary judgment on matters of financial significance. This position interfaces regularly with senior leadership and carrier partners to align outcomes with Swyfft's strategic and financial objectives. As such, this role requires a sophisticated understanding of insurance law, claim investigation, coverage analysis, litigation strategy, and vendor management to ensure optimal claim resolution and expense control.

This position reports up to the Director of Casualty and Litigation. In this position, you will also be involved in various projects supporting operations, including metrics analysis, quality management of service providers, and data veracity within the claims systems.

• This position is a 100% remote U.S. based opportunity that can be based in one of the following states only : AL, AZ, FL, GA, KY, LA, MA, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.

Some travel for day-to-day work, team meetings, and training will be required.
