POSITION SUMMARY :

The Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist I offers support as an important member of the health information management team by ensuring the quality maintenance of patient information / medical records, within all laws, rules and regulations of federal and state licensing agencies, and Joint Commission standards for the quality of patient care.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least one year experience in a medical office / behavioral health care setting preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook required
