Shop Manager / Shop Manager Trainee – Lead & Grow in Precision Manufacturing!

• Location : West Norriton, PA
• Pay Rate : $26–$28 / hour (based on experience)
• Schedule : Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire

Are you ready to take the next step in your manufacturing career? We’re hiring a Shop Manager / Shop Manager Trainee to join our client’s aerospace and defense manufacturing team in West Norriton, PA.

What You’ll Do :

Lead and mentor a team of 5 Assemblers, setting priorities and ensuring schedules are met.

Participate in hands-on assembly and production tasks.

Oversee daily operations, equipment maintenance, and workflow efficiency.

Ensure all products meet company, government, and customer quality standards.

Partner with Quality Assurance to address nonconformances and implement improvements.

Maintain a safe, organized, and 5S-compliant workspace.

Communicate performance updates, challenges, and resource needs to leadership.

What We’re Looking For :

3–5 years of experience in assembly or precision manufacturing.

3–5 years of supervisory or lead experience in a production environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Familiarity with machining and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
