Every winning bid starts with a rocksolid estimate. As a Cost Estimating Analyst, youll be at the heart of that process turning complex inputs into clear, defensible numbers that shape our business. This isnt a backroom spreadsheet role. Youll be frontfacing, working directly with engineers, supply chain, and program managers to challenge assumptions, spot risks, and build models that stand up in the boardroom.

Youll start with smaller change orders, but under the mentorship of our VP (25+ years in program finance), youll quickly grow into owning full proposals endtoend. If youre hungry to learn, thrive under deadlines, and want to build a career in cost estimating, this is your launchpad.

What Youll Do

• Own the numbers : build, validate, and document cost models that align with WBS structures and program requirements.
• Be the challenger : question inputs, test assumptions, and ensure estimates make sense in timing, scope, and cashflow.
• Translate complexity : turn RFPs, milestone tables, and risk registers into clear financial outputs cashflows, P&Ls, and review packages.
• Collaborate widely : partner with engineering, supply chain, contracts, and program management to gather and validate data.
• Grow fast : shadow the VP in reviews, then step up to present your own estimates to senior leadership.
• Improve the system : help refine templates, tools, and processes so the team gets sharper with every bid.

Location

This position is fully remote with occasional domestic travel for training and bid work. Applicants must be located in one of the following states : AL, CA, CO, FL, GA, KS, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TX, VA, WA.

Compensation

We offer a base pay of $72,000 - $92,000, plus incentive compensation and benefits. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, and PTO.
