Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and CT proficiency to work in a Level II trauma acute care setting.
Responsibilities
Position is in diagnostic radiology within an acute care hospitalCovers both inpatient and outpatient populations, including ER and ORLevel II trauma environment with fast-paced workflow12 hour evening shifts, typical hours are 12 : 00 PM to 12 : 30 AMShifts may vary (8, 10, or 12 hours) and include weekends and holidays as neededUse of Cerner EMR and Philips iPatient 64 and big bore 16 scannersC-arm use required in the OR1–2 shift floor-specific orientation providedRadiologist is in-house until 6 PM, then on-call afterwardDuties include diagnostic radiology procedures in ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient settingsWill work with a well-staffed radiology team; night shifts may require more independenceScrub color is teal, with hospital-provided scrubs for OR casesFirst-time travelers will be consideredCandidates expected to work holidays if neededLevel II trauma experience is preferred but not requiredRequirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology TechnologistMust have CT experienceBLS, ARRT (R), and Fluoroscopy certifications requiredActive CA Radiologic Technologist license required; license required if applicableRad Tech II applicants must have CT experienceAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, Level II trauma environmentSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlyDriver’s license required for considerationTwo professional references : one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 yearsBenefits
