    • About the Role

    The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial construction billing and be comfortable working with AIA billing formats, client billing portals, and project management teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely customer invoicing, payment application, and collections for our commercial and residential divisions.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit AIA-style invoices for all billable projects, including all necessary supporting documentation.
  • Upload finalized invoices to client billing portals (Textura, Procore, GC Pay, etc.) as required.
  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems for invoices, waivers, and sworn statements.
  • Request and track Unconditional waivers from vendors.
  • Enter invoices accurately into NetSuite and update Salesforce with recent billings.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to review WIPs (Work in Progress).
  • Partner with Project Coordinators on change order documentation and billing.
  • Enter Schedules of Values (SOVs) into customer billing systems as needed.
  • Prepare and update the monthly billing projection worksheet.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable aging, perform collections follow-ups, and manage outstanding balances for the commercial division.
  • Process and reconcile payment applications for both commercial and residential projects.

    • Requirements :

  • 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in construction or commercial billing.
  • Strong understanding of AIA billing, lien waivers, and payment applications.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Textura, Procore, and GC Pay preferred.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office tools.
