The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Housekeeping Coordinator to join the team. Located on Coronado Island, this 28-acre property with 750+ rooms, cottages and villas, 65,000 square feet of banquet space and 10 F&B outlets offers a historic and renovated setting for guests.

Classification : Part-Time

Shift : Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate : $25-$27 per hour, based on experience and location.

Location : Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton, Coronado Island, San Diego area.

Responsibilities

• Provide dispatching services and office support to the Housekeeping department to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, respond to guest and team member inquiries, and dispatch appropriate service in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Use and maintain the work order system and / or property management system to log and record service requests, initiate, dispatch and close work orders, and generate reports.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping / Property Operations to ensure vacant / ready rooms are available.
• Respond to emergency calls and monitor the alarm system.
• Coordinate office traffic and perform general office duties including processing paperwork, scheduling team members, payroll processing, inventory and equipment maintenance, and tracking guest comments and feedback as needed.
