In this role, you will be integral to the well-being of our residents, delivering care that exceeds expectations. Your responsibilities will range from administering medications to maintaining accurate records of care.
You will lead a team of nursing assistants and hospitality aides, providing guidance to ensure quality care. Your expertise will be vital in assessing and responding to both the physical and psychological needs of our residents, making a positive impact on their lives.
A Day in the Life of an LPN :
Administer medications and treatments as required.Maintain clear and accurate records of residents' care.Delegate daily care tasks to nursing assistants and hospitality aides, ensuring effective delivery of care.Assist in transcribing and executing physicians' orders.Engage in resident care planning.Monitor and respond to the physical and psychological needs of our residents.Assist with admissions and discharges.Manage a team of nursing assistants and assist with direct resident care as necessary.Handle confidential information responsibly.Follow departmental policies and maintain established care standards.Perform additional tasks as directed by your supervisor.Requirements :
Active LPN license in the relevant state. Students in LPN programs may consider the Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN) position.Good judgment, initiative, and reliability.Proficient in understanding and using English.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with resident care throughout an eight-hour shift.Capability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.Skilled in following oral and written instructions and communicating effectively with residents.
