Summary of the Role : Join PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the environmental services industry, to safeguard compliance and reliability in power generation. As a Regulatory Compliance Analyst, you'll ensure adherence to NERC CIP, Operations & Planning (O&P), and WECC standards, while developing and maintaining compliance processes across generation fleet. Your expertise will help protect critical infrastructure and maintain trust with regulatory bodies.
What You'll Do :
- Act as a liaison between Power Generation entities and the Electric Reliability Compliance department.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance programs for NERC and WECC standards.
- Prepare and review evidence for compliance with CIP and O&P standards.
- Coordinate compliance activities and guide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Investigate and implement automation tools to improve compliance efficiency.
- Maintain knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements and integrate them into programs.
- Develop training materials and provide compliance training to technical and non-technical staff.
- Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in NERC Standards Development processes.
- Support change management, incident reporting, and response planning.
- Collaborate with OT professionals to integrate compliance into technical design and maintenance of generation control systems.
What It Takes to Succeed :
Strong understanding of NERC CIP and O&P standards; WECC experience preferred.Electric utility experience subject to NERC standards.Background in IT, Cyber Security, or related technical domains.Highly detail-oriented, goal-driven, and collaborative.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio.Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally.Skilled at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to generation facilities multiple times per week.Ability to direct work with outside vendors for technical and compliance engagements.Preferred Experience :
Generation and / or transmission engineering, operations, or planning experience.Hands-on experience with NERC standards and compliance programs.Why Join Us?
