Claims Specialist (Temp to Hire) - Phoenix, AZ - $23-$25/hr.
About the Role
Our confidential client is expanding its claims team and seeking a Claims Specialist to support intake, investigation, adjudication, and customer communications. You'll resolve claims efficiently while delivering a clear, empathetic customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Review new claims for completeness; verify coverage and eligibility
• Investigate facts, obtain statements and documentation, and assess liability
• Calculate benefits and issue approvals/denials within authority limits
• Collaborate with providers/adjusters; escalate complex cases as needed
• Maintain accurate notes and status updates in the claims system
• Track SLAs and quality metrics; recommend process improvements

What You'll Bring

• 1-2+ years in claims processing/claims administration (health, dental, P&C, or related)
• Familiarity with EOBs, coordination of benefits, and claim coding basics
• Strong documentation, time management, and customer?care skills

• Compensation: $23-$25/hr
• Type: Temp to Hire; full time, Monday-Friday
• Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite; client will discuss flexibility)

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
