Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a compact or MD license, BLS, ACLS, and significant IR / Cath Lab / ICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
  • On-call required for weekends and overnight shifts, with 7 call shifts in 7 weeks including 2 weekends
  • Moderate sedation procedures are performed
  • Epic EMR is used in this role
  • Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care for interventional radiology procedures
  • On-call shifts require readiness for both overnight and weekend coverage
  • All local candidates are eligible regardless of distance except where specified for certain locations
  • Scrub or dress code details are not specified

    • Requirements

  • Active RN license from MD or a compact state is required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications must be held
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or ICU is required
  • Experience with moderate sedation is required
  • Experience in facilities with 500+ beds is necessary
  • Candidates with additional Neuro ICU experience are preferred
  • Epic EMR experience is required
