Job Title : Fitter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled fitter with over three years of industrial fitting experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong fitting and layout skills, and the ability to transfer blueprints to full-size layouts on the floor or table. A strong proficiency in math and geometry is essential, along with experience in fitting structural steel. The majority of welding involves carbon steel flux core welding, which includes grinding, beveling, and tearing down old valves.

Responsibilities

• Transfer blueprints to full-size layouts on floors or tables.
• Perform structural steel fitting.
• Conduct carbon steel flux core welding, including grinding and beveling.
• Tear down old valves as needed.
• Understand and interpret weld symbols and dimensions.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hr.
