Quality Inspector –
Aerospace Manufacturing
Full Time + OT
Profile Summary :
Experienced and fast-paced Quality Inspector in the aerospace manufacturing industry, with a strong command of inspection equipment, final inspection protocols, ERP systems, and meticulous documentation practices. Demonstrates high proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, industry specifications, and using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and gauges. Thrives in high-throughput environments, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and internal quality standards.
Core Competencies :
- Inspection Equipment Expertise : Skilled in operating a wide array of mechanical and electronic inspection tools (manual and automated).
- Final Inspections : Performs detailed final product reviews and sign-offs, ensuring readiness for shipment or assembly integration.
- ERP Systems : Proficient in using manufacturing ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) for tracking quality metrics, logging NCRs, and maintaining traceability.
- Documentation : Accurately completes inspection records, FAI reports (AS9102), and control plans; ensures compliance with quality and regulatory documentation.
- Pace & Precision : Maintains speed without compromising quality in fast-paced environments; adept at multitasking under tight deadlines.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Communicates effectively with quality engineers, production, and supply chain teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
