About The Position

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience, highly preferred in Neuro (spines / crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases.

License : Required

Certifications : NBSTSA and BLS required. Clienttion badge must be provided by the agency.

Must-Have :

Experience in Neuro (spines / crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases is highly preferred.

Ability to float between like units as needed.

Description :

The position involves working as a Certified Surgical Technologist.

The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts from 06 : 30 to 19 : 00 with holiday rotation.

The role requires covering up to one weekend shift every four weeks.

On-call requirements include up to four call shifts every four weeks.

The traveler may be expected to work a variety of cases including Ortho, Neuro, ENT, Robotics, Transplants, Trauma, and GU / GYN.

The operating room environment is busy and dynamic, with a focus on advanced surgical technology.

The nursing team comprises a balanced mix of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists.

Candidates must be flexible to accommodate block scheduling based on the unit's needs.

All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.

Candidates with a valid state license will be prioritized.

Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is beneficial.

Travelers should be aware of emergency response assignments during hurricane season from June through November.
