Raymar is seeking a Plumber to support our team in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. If you thrive working with a team that values accomplishing great outcomes and you love to learn and grow as a person and team member, then we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

  • 5 + years of minimum experience in the plumbing trade.
  • Journeyman License or Masters.
  • Backflow license required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment requirements.
  • Clean driving record with valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday 7 : 30am – 4 : 00pm and evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes.
  • Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing related issues.
  • Use a variety of power tools, hand tools and measuring devices / meters to perform job functions.
  • Be able to perform daily tasks including but not limited to : water heater replacement and repair, fixture replacement including faucets, tubs, showers and toilets, drain clearing and competent use of sewer machines.
  • Monitor, identify and respond promptly to malfunctioning of equipment.
  • Respond to emergency service calls promptly.
  • Keep truck inventory up to date.
  • Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification or installation of equipment.
  • Properly complete paperwork.
