Assistant General Counsel

Must Have : -

• Minimum of 7+ years of legal experience including 4+ years at a premier law firm, financial services firm and / or financial services regulator
• J.D. degree
• Admission to the New York or New Jersey Bar
• Demonstrated experience advising financial services businesses, particularly related to clearing agencies, post-trade processing, or market infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and experience supporting regulatory audits or examinations
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, policies, and internal legal documents
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Product, Sales, etc.)
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with minimal supervision
