Overview :
As a Learning Digital Designer within Commercial Learning Services, you will bring exceptional visual storytelling and digital design skills to elevate the impact of learning experiences across the commercial and marketing organization. You'll craft creative assets that drive clarity, engagement, and retention for learners, and ensure a consistent and modern visual standard across digital learning touchpoints.
Responsibilities :
Design engaging, on-brand visuals for use digital learning experiences and organizational communication for Commercial Learning Services, including : interfaces, animations, presentations, and supporting artifacts
Create a design system for use in 3rd party software tools that is aligned and in sync with the Lilly Design System
Translate complex commercial content into clear and compelling visual formats that support comprehension and action
Apply advanced design principles in layout, typography, color, motion, and composition across a range of digital outputs
Collaborate with learning architects, instructional designers, and business stakeholders to co-create design solutions aligned to strategic learning objectives
Develop and maintain scalable visual systems, templates, and brand-aligned assets for repeatable use across learning projects
Ensure accessibility and responsive design standards are upheld in all outputs
Stay current on trends in visual design, learning technology, motion graphics, and digital content production
Collaborate and lead critique sessions with instructional designers and visuals designers on a globally distributed team
Basic Requirements : Education :
High school diploma or GED required with 3+ years experience working in a professional working experience in a visual design role
Portfolio :
Submission of a professional portfolio required with initial application

Additional Skills / Preferences :
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design (or related field)
7+ years working experience in a visual design role
Professional design experience in digital visual design or multimedia design, preferably with experience supporting interactive digital products and systems
Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design excellence across multiple project types and digital platforms
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Figma, and presentation design tools (e.g., PowerPoint or Keynote)
Expertise in grid systems, visual hierarchy, responsive design, and modular / component design
Proficient in motion graphics and micro-interactions
Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles
Experience working with design systems or branded component libraries
Proven ability to turn abstract ideas or complex topics into polished, compelling visual experiences
Travel Percentage 0-10%

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$58,500 - $137,500
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
