Certification Details

  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • NIH Stroke Certification

Job Details

  • 36 or 48 hours
  • Minimum 1 YEAR CVICU experience REQUIRED (dedicated CVICU staff exp)
  • Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
  • Targeted patient ratios are 1 : 2
  • Must have experience with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and draw ABGs
  • Travel experience preferred
  • EPIC experience Required
  • Floating and Other Requirements : Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in / out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to.
  • If assigned to MVH, this could include floating main campus (Dayton), south campus (Centerville) less than 10 miles from Main Campus and North Campus (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus.
  • Traveler must be available to work every other weekend / holiday.
  • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
  • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.
  • Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.

    • Job Requirements

  • Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
  • BLS, ACLS and NIHSS required - must be able to read and interpret strips

    • Schedule Information

  • 36 or 48 hours
  • Traveler must be available to work every other weekend / holiday.

  • Working with Tele / drips / vents

    • Additional Details

  • I9 required per contract
  • Government Issued Photo ID is required
  • Everify required per contract
  • Required if the candidate has a different name on their documents
  • Required if the candidate will be using a Compact Nursing license that differs from the state in which they will be working.
  • AHA Only - NON-AHA certifications are only acceptable as placeholder while AHA certifications pending completion. RQI certifications are acceptable.
  • Certifications that are expiring within a week of start must be renewed and will not be accepted.
