As a Security Officer - Residential Site Patrol - Driver in Glen Allen, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the property, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support the community. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity, reporting findings according to established procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with residents, visitors, and property management to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
  • Support a welcoming environment while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
