Nurse (LVN/RN)

The nurse is responsible for the proper supervision of detoxing clients pursuant to independent medical physician's orders as well as oversee self-medication procedures for all residential clients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Minimum of AA Degree required, Bachelor degree preferred.
• Experience: 3 - 5 years addiction treatment experience preferred.
• Knowledge/Abilities: Maintains current licensure/certification, as applicable, including First Aid and CPR training, and provides copies of all current certifications to the Facility. Assumes responsibility for own personal and professional growth. Keeps current via professional literature and stays up-to-date on professional techniques, theories and procedures. Observes the Facility personnel requirements contained in the policy and procedure manual. Must have own personal vehicle to use, if needed, while at work, a valid California Driver's license required.
