About The Position

Cost Center 764 License hits must be disclosed at time of submission JOB SUMMARY Performs duties to accurately apply ionizing radiation to patients of all age groups from pediatric through geriatric in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the radiation oncologist. General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs / ARRT & other specialty certification-requirements- ARRT / W Virginia state License How many scanners / rooms does this department have? 1 Truebeam treatment and 1 Siemens CT Simulator Will they have to float / cover any other areas? No Common types of imaging / studies performed & Job Duties Radiation therapy, Simulations, Blocks Experience or 'Must have' skills -True beam experience within the last year, also, someone with experience that if left in a situation with a less experienced RTT, then they would be able to step up and lead the situation if need be. Need to be able to use Varian TrueBeam 4.1 and ARIA v.18.1. Also, needs to be able to complete 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, & DIBH treatment procedures. Average # of scans / studies per day- 17-20 EMR & / or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System : software & hardware) do they use- Aria / PACS / Meditech Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Truebeam, Siemens Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Erin Jackson Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house? Yes Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No, the RN does that Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) No, the Lead Therapist does that Weekend Requirements No Holiday Requirements No Call or Standby requirement? Response time? No Scrub Color / Dress Code : Are scrubs provided?
