Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Partnership Accounting team. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to work independently, and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating complex Excel models, interpreting intricate calculations, and engaging with internal partners and stakeholders. A background in tax and automation technologies is a plus.

What You Will Do :

Independently manage projects, including coordination with Legal, Finance, and Tech teams to ensure accurate setup and reporting.

Build, maintain, and enhance complex Excel models to support reporting and decision-making.

Quickly grasp and apply complex accounting and financial concepts.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to resolve issues and create value.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual partner calculations and tax-related schedules.

Maintain organized documentation and audit trails for all accounting processes.

Skills / Requirements

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.

5-10 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.

Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and financial modeling.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills; comfortable interacting with partners and senior stakeholders.

Familiarity with partnership tax concepts is preferred.

Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, and Tableau) is highly desirable.

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.

Current INTERNAL home-based associates : While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status . Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
