Concrete Production Laborers And Cage Builders

Join our team at a leading concrete manufacturing plant with facilities in Spring City, PA. We specialize in creating high-quality precast concrete products for utility companies and custom projects, including storm drains, light poles, and highway rails. We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill positions as Production Laborers and Cage Builders.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to construct rebar forms for pre-cast walls.
• Strip concrete castings from all forms and clean damaged caulking, concrete, and other materials.
• Construct and assemble basic wood forms and block outs using Styrofoam and wood.
• Install proper rebar cages and required cast-in items per approved shop drawings.
• Cast, vibrate, and finish fresh concrete.
• Assist with forming and pouring concrete, and perform duties at heights when necessary.
• Assemble rebar cages for concrete pouring, including occasional welding and torching.

Work Environment

Our facilities, located in Spring City, PA, have been operational since 1960. The work environment resembles an indoor construction site that can be loud, older, and dirty at times. Employees should wear steel toe work boots, long work pants, and t-shirts. While the environment is non-climate controlled, it offers a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere. The facility is equipped with large cranes to assist with handling extremely heavy concrete.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Spring City, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
