POSITION SUMMARY
The web content manager plays a central role in maintaining a dynamic and effectiveonline presence for Bluffton University’s constituencies in order to strengthen thereputation and brand of Bluffton University. As a member of the PR staff, the webcontent manager assists with planning and coordination of public relations responsibilitiesincluding internal communications, special events, crisis communications and mediarelations as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee content, design and code for template development on www.bluffton.edu site.
Build and distribute monthly e-newsletters per communication strategy.
Manage the HomeTown Tickets online platform for all campus events by coordinatingwith campus clients to ensure they have what they need and are trained on usage.
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or abilityrequired to satisfactorily perform the essential responsibilities of this job.
Education and / or Experience :
Education and / or Experience : Bachelor’s degree at minimum. Prior experience in digital content creation, communication, journalism or informationtechnology and web design / management.
Education and / or Experience :
1-3 years of prior digital content creation, communication, journalism or informationtechnology experience or other college related work.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT :
