Job Description
Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students in the Autistic Support program. This role involves working closely with special education staff to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), support behavior interventions, and foster a positive learning environment tailored to each student's needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Provide direct support to students with autism and other special needs
- Collaborate with special education teachers, therapists, and families
- Support behavior intervention plans and monitor student progress
- Help facilitate IEP meetings and contribute to problem-solving teams
- Use technology and multimedia tools to enhance learning
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in professional development and school learning communities
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements :
High school diploma (photo or official transcript with signature required)GED not accepted
