We are searching for new members for the Meijer family to deliver quality customer experience as a Food Clerk in the deli department at our Acme, MI Store Location!

As a Food Clerk, you will be responsible for :

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and deliver exceptional service consistently.
• Must keep deli case presentation and backstock impeccable.
• Operate commercial culinary equipment
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, chicken wings, and potato wedges
• Samples products to customers
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates when necessary

ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME; TRAINING PROVIDED

Must be available to work Saturday or Sunday. All shifts available.

CURRENT OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN DELI, BAKERY, FOOD SERVICE OR RESTAURANT A PLUS!
