Position Summary : The Senior Inventory Analyst analyzes data to determine the optimal inventory levels to support our patient care while minimizing excess inventory on hand and eliminating product expiration. Informs the team of their performance to department KPI's. Lead's the team by putting inventory standards in place and auditing the results. Maintains software systems as pertaining to data in Hybrent / Cerner systems

Position Requirements Education : Bachelor's degree required.

Experience : 5+ years' experience in inventory management, workflows and analytics required.

Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Demonstrates strong customer service skills.
• Effectively interacts with customers who are in high-level management positions.
• Displays inventory management and financial principles.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and expand knowledge, skills and abilities within Materials Management in a short period of time is required.
• Knowledge of healthcare related supplies, products, and equipment is helpful.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced computer experience in MS Office Suite with emphasis in MS Excel and SQL is preferred.
• Ability to lead teams of non-direct reports in Supply Chain Process Improvement initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

Physical requirements : This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Must have the ability and understanding of how to work in potential hazardous, noisy, and dangerous situations with the proper use of personal safety equipment. Must be able to work from ladders, extended heights, roofs, and scaffolding.
