Job Summary

Summary : Processes data entry and performs clerical tasks to ensure payroll is accurately processed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist in processing multi-state weekly payroll by entering and reviewing timesheets daily, checking job codes, labor hours, and overtime.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist with record keeping and updating employee profiles, including new hire onboarding, terminations, status changes and rate changes.
• Ensure payroll processes follow company polices and federal, state and local regulations.
• Support certified payroll reporting, fridge benefit tracking, and prevailing wage documentation as needed. Exhibits fast and accurate data entry skills.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Audits payroll to track discrepancies.
• Follows up on changes with payroll; assumes responsibility for projects assigned by Payroll Manager.
