We are seeking a Bridge Superintendent / Project Engineer to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Responsibilities :

• Manages the on-site work performance of work components and supervise and coordinates the inspection teams assigned to the job site
• Ensure work is completed in compliance, safely, and efficiently, and that budgets and progress on schedule are maintained
• Oversee the daily operations and ensure that approved materials and resources are used to complete the work.
• Makes recommendations on the hiring, training, corrective actions.
• Communicates and coordinates with third-party inspectors, representatives, and others to accomplish quality controls
• Pre-plans work activities with Superintendent to develop best means and methods, including safety action plans,
• Maintains a dedication to safety at all times that proper safety equipment is used by field personnel,
• Accountable for ensuring that the completed work meets quality standards,
• Coordinate a work schedule / deadlines with project managers and other management personnel,
• Responsible for ensuring the team accurately reports daily quantities for work performed
• Initiates follow up action as necessary including training, orientation, discipline, etc.,
• May be required to work extended hours including evenings, nights, and weekends,
• Additional duties as assigned
• Performing strenuous work in varying temperatures, humidity, wind, or other extreme inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time,
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
