Lab Technician

Pay Rate : $ 19.00 / hour

We have partnered with a large manufacturing company in the Garland, TX area to provide them with a Lab Technician. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Lab Technician :

#1. Perform and document standard laboratory tests, sample preparations, and equipment calibration with accuracy and attention to detail.

#2. Maintain a clean, safe work environment while ensuring timely completion of assigned lab tasks using basic math and computer skills.

#3. Work both independently and collaboratively with technicians and chemists to support lab operations and testing requirements.

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician :

• Cleans, maintains and calibrates standard equipment and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Completes appropriate forms and documentation regarding tasks and requests; receives direction from other technicians or chemists on specialized or complex issues.
• Performs basic calculations to prepare, perform, and conclude samples.
• Performs basic technical tests and analyses based on formulas and project requirements; tasks are more standard and require limited judgment within established guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Prepares basic samples, materials, equipment, and other required tools for laboratory tests or development.
• Performs coating spray application.
