Set up and operate press brake (metal bending) equipment in alignment with quality, productivity, safety, and site efficiency standards.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer.
Perform quality inspections according to documented quality plans and accurately record results.
Identify and differentiate between material types (aluminum, 5000-series aluminum, steel, stainless steel, paint grip, galvanneal, galvanized) and adjust processes accordingly.
Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner while following prescribed safety procedures.
Support continuous improvement efforts for safety, quality, and efficiency.
Assist in other work areas and cross-train as needed.
Adhere to attendance, safety, and site standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and written instructions.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Capability to identify and work with multiple types of metals and materials.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Adherence to safety practices and procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and assist with cross-functional tasks.
