- This role is for an experienced Nuclear Document Management (NDM) Specialist to support the additional processing effort required at Millstone Power Station.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and legal requirements dictated by Nuclear Information Record Management Association standards and DOM-QA-1 (Client Nuclear Quality Assurance Program).
Responsibilities :
Processing a high volume of documents (e.g., engineering drawings, designs, and transmittals and procedures) from the large capital projects department through prepping, scanning, and indexingProviding excellent customer service at the Records Counter and via phoneAiding in the retrieval of recordsCreating and maintaining revision-controlled drawings and field books for station craft areasThis involves processing revision-controlled drawings, design changes, ETE's, calculations, specifications and other materials, and communicating with the Engineering and projects group to ensure a quality productResolving document management issues and implementing corrective actionsResearching and retrieving legacy documents and drawingsDistributing priority-controlled procedures and drawingsProcessing Vendor technical manuals and approval packages for specific revised proceduresMaintaining and updating applicable Nuclear Records Retentions Schedule (NRRS), including reviewing every revised procedure to assess effect on retention, and making updates as neededProviding support to the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) Code ManagerProcessing and maintaining applicable electronic media and electronic media databaseRequirements :
Must have knowledge and understanding of Nuclear Document Management (NDM) and quality records processingAbility to manage multiple activities, resources, and task prioritiesAbility to exercise discretion and professional judgment within clearly defined established proceduresDemonstrates self-motivationAnalytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrates strong attention to detailStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi -disciplinary teamsGood customer service skillsStrong computer skills5+ years directly related experienceEducation :
