About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with emergency medicine expertise for a flexible locum tenens assignment in Texas. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, at a Trauma Center and offers a variable schedule ideal for clinicians with ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications who are comfortable in high-acuity settings.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for emergency and trauma cases in a Trauma Center
  • Deliver patient assessment and perioperative management in acute care settings
  • Collaborate with the emergency department team to support trauma and critical care interventions
  • Ensure compliance with state licensure and DEA regulations
  • Maintain required certifications including ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
  • Document all procedures and case logs accurately and timely

    • Additional Information

  • Must hold a current Texas state license and DEA registration
  • ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Board certification as an Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist - Pediatric (ACCNS-P) preferred
  • Experience in emergency or trauma settings is highly desirable
  • Valid driver’s license and photo identification required
  • Completion of necessary CME credits and submission of case logs may be required
