We are seeking a Purchasing / Inventory Control Specialist to join our team! As a Purchasing / Inventory Control Specialist, you will be working with multiple departments to determine their supply needs, create and receive purchase orders, place orders while managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and optimizing inventory processes. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed.
Responsibilities
Take supply requests from departments, determining needPlace orders, follow up on delays, and maintain strong working relationships with vendorsMaintain accurate inventory levels, ordering an appropriate amount of product before it is at critical levelsEvaluate offers from multiple vendors, determining the best place to order based on price and quality, conducting research as necessary to find an appropriate supplierManage vendor contracts, as neededCreate and receive purchase ordersMonitor pricing changesQualifications
Previous experience in a similar position desiredStrong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suitePrevious experience with Spruce is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
